Hello and welcome, I thought that I would give you a couple of house painting tips where you have to paint some stucco.
In Kelowna, when house painting we paint exterior stucco homes all the time as a niche market. Here is some helpful advice for you do it your self'ers.
1) The biggest piece of advice when setting out to paint your stucco home or house painting is that you want to paint by spray application, using a 313 or 315 spray tip'
you can get away with rolling, but spraying is waaaay, more effective!! (and no, that's not a typo) effective as in time and labor saving, as well your paint covers way nicer.

2) When spraying your going to need two coats of paint and sometimes three. Your first coat should be sprayed in one direction and the other coat should be sprayed from the opposite direction to ensure that all the wall surface gets covered.

3) with regards to house painting you should mask off your soffits and window frames before you start and make sure that you only mask off what can be sprayed that day. If you leave your tape and paper on to long, especially in the okanogan heat, you can be assured of trouble when you attempt to take off the sun baked tape.

4) When you choose your tape, pick the painters green tape, to ensure easy removal. Use the white tape only to tape off to concrete surfaces to ensure a tight, stickable masking job! Again unmask the same day if possible.
